Mark your calendars for Earth Hour - March 27, 2010 at 8:30 PM your local time!
What is Earth Hour? It's a time when people from all over the World come together to bring a call to action on climate change by doing something quite simple - turning off their lights for one hour.
Last year we participated in Earth Hour. Gracie even got in on the act by ceremoniously turning off our lights. Here's a quick video of her learning how to turn off the lights just a couple of days before!
The movement symbolizes that by working together, each of us can make a positive impact in this fight, protecting our future and that of future generations. Learn more about how Earth Hour began, what we’ve accomplished, and what is in store for 2010.

I say we need more of those marks on our calendar. I vote for 365 days of Earth Hour.

This is a great way to get people more aware of how we are destroying the earth. Maybe it will help people to conserve just a little.
