Looks like residents in Liverpool may be scooping up prizes in addition to the obligatory poo, says officials in the office of the City of Liverpool. Until the end of November the council's environmental wardens will be on the look out for people who pick up their pet's mess as part of the 'Caught Doing Right' campaign.
Anyone 'caught in the act' keeping the streets clean will be handed a 'praise postcard' which they can then send by freepost and be entered into a prize drawing. The drawing will take place in December and lucky residents have a chance of winning top doggy-related prizes including a year's supply of dog food.
