How to make a great dog jacket from one of your old winter coats!

There's a chill in the air this morning!!!

With the chill, we know that winter is just around the corner; which means it's time to think about a new, fun, re-purposed dog coat!

Searching the internet, we found these great instructions to create a pawsome dog coat from one of your old coats!

Here's Reese, modeling the end result of the coat his Mom made from an old coat that was beginning to show some wear and tear.

The neat thing is these instructions can work with small or larger dogs - the larger the coat, the larger the dog; and depending upon your hand sewing skills, you may not even need a sewing machine.

If you don't have a large old coat, you can pick one up at your local Goodwill or Salvation Army store.

Here are all the instructions courtesy of Fine Diving Chicago. And here is a direct link to the pattern (with instructions).

  1. Your models are great. They suite the clothes. I am looking forward to make 1 myself.
